No proper basic facilities, No proper officials, No security guard at all, No proper power, No AC, No Hot Water, No Vint in Restroom, No proper Room service facility, No Extra Amenities, No lift, No intercom, No proper Complimentary breakfast, No proper Water to Drink, No proper restaurant, No Swimming pool, Room Smells Full of Smoking Smell, Restroom looks neat with full of Ants and cockroaches, Only Tamil regional channels will dedicated, After 9.00pm there won't be any service or officials if any cause of emergency, Fully local people are working from front office to till room service, It's not all a Resort totally illegal and located in a Village Forest. We can't enter into the village with out proper permission from local people every time. Very very worst Experience in My Life.

There’s no ocean nearby. So don’t get misled by the name. The Hotel, however, is one of the few hotels in Auroville. We had a bad experience during check in. Later, the Manager took care of us by upgrading the room.

We booked a room nearly 5 months ago *19 Oct 2017 but unfortunately we didn't make it. Manager and owner promised us anytime check in policy. When we asked him to book it for the right next month, their answer was, hotel was leased out but they promised to payback the money. We are still behind the owner for the cancellation amount of 3278/- rs. Everytime we need to call from different numbers since they were not picking up our calls. Whenever they pick up we get to hear different stories. Manager said he resigned. Owner never picks up our call. And we were surprised to see that other people also were cheated like us. If we still didn't get our money by this month end we are planning to file a complaint, as we have no hope they will pay us back. I just wanna warn everyone who is planning to stay here, these people are just money minded and No.1 Cheaters! Please never ever visit this place and have a bad experience like us.

But for our WAZE GPS app we wouldn't have found this place. Highly over priced no star property in the middle of a scrub jungle in Tamil Nadu and not in Pondy. Access to this place is through Auroville property only through mud roads. No grid power supply and the hotel runs on one single generator and solar backup for fans and lights. Open restaurant on the roof and high ceiling two floors to climb. Not for elderly people. Early morning at around 3 am the generators are switched off for about one hour to give rest to it and I woke up both times since AC got turned off. If the generator breaks down no ACs. BIG rooms with poor furnishing. Hot water is by solar in the first floor rooms. It takes ages to get hot water. No ventilation fans and not even a mirror counter in from the mirror in the bathroom. Went empty stomach in the night, since one chef who could not handle all the guest orders - regretted they cannot serve me. Found all restaurants near Auroville close by 9-45 to 10 pm. Only go there if you must go and no other choice.
